Meet the artist, Casey Zander.

 

I'm an artist. I live, breathe, think, play and work in varied forms of art. Some people believe that typical drawing/painting/sculpture is the only type of art out there, but I disagree.

 

I think things such as writing, cooking, and home/garden decorating are also forms of art. After all, what is art but creating images, feelings, and messages?

 

Doesn't a home cooked meal bring back memories? And when you read a book, doesn't the way a writer organizes the words draw detailed pictures in your mind, to the extent that you feel like you are a part of the story? What about decorating a home to espouse a certain feeling or image, or creating landscaping to create a welcoming feeling to a house?

Art isn't just one thing.

 

But it all has the same purpose: to convey a message.

 

And I truly believe this.
